Copernicus's Aryan Theology:
Who Placed 'Visible God' Over There?
Genesis 10:9 gives us the portion missing from the Gilgamesh tablets. Those lines include. “it is said, Nimrod (or Gilgamesh) the mighty vanquisher of YHWH.” This has to be what is missing from all the clay tablets of the Gilgamesh story. The Gilgamesh Epic calls him Huwawa; the Bible calls Him YHWH.
In ancient Egypt, for example, the magicians claimed the power of compelling even the highest gods to do their bidding, and actually threatened them with destruction in case of disobedience. Sometimes, without going quite so far, the wizard declared that he would scatter the bones of Osiris or reveal his sacred legend, if the god proved contumacious. Similarly in India at the present day the great sorcerers, who, by means of their spells, exercise such as ascendancy over the mightiest deities, that these are bound submissively to execute on earth below, or in heaven above, whatever commands their masters the magicians may please to issue. There is saying everywhere current in India: “The whole universe is subject to the gods; the gods are subject to the spells (mantras); the spells to the Brahmans; therefore the Brahmans are our gods.” Melanchton observed that the young Copernicus was studying magic at the Cracow University, where he learnt, according to a Polish saying, to stop the sun and move the earth.
Fighting the influence o the Aryan heliocentrism embraced by the great Mystic Lao Dse (with him we enter the realm of the Indian realization of union with the Divine; Cp John 10:36), Confucius made fun of its magical aspects saying: “What harm can a man do to the sun or the moon by wishing to stop either in its course? It only shows that he knows not his own limitations.”

Gov. Blagojevich Reads Copernicus:
‘Will Fight This Heliocentrism Thing’
http://www.kidseclipse.com/pages/a1b3c0d0.htm
CHICAGO—It was announced today that the recently disgraced governor of Illinois Rod Blagojevich recently picked up a copy of On the Revolutions of Celestial Spheres, Nicolaus Copernicus’ watershed tome on the heliocentric nature of our solar system, and declared he “will fight this heliocentrism thing.”
Despite overwhelming evidence in support of Copernicus’ theory that the earth does in fact revolve around the sun, Blagojevich is insisting that it is the other way around.
“I’m not going to quit believing in an earth-centric universe because of modern science’s say-so.”
When asked by state Attorney General Lisa Madigan whether or not his conviction in the ancient view of the universe deemed him unfit to serve, the Illinois Supreme Court put aside the black tar heroin they were main-lining and said simply, “Nah.”
Among the allegations the governor is denying are the Earth’s tilt, the whole of celestial mechanics, and that stars are not angels doing the waltz in the night sky.
It remains to be seen whether he will step down in light of these accusations.
Unlike Galileo, Gov. Blagojevich had the courage to stand for his convictions.

Roma locuta: “Judaism is a corrupt and dying Religion”
Science is the ground on which Jews and Aryans are going to stake their final battle

The story of temptation of Christ on an “exeedingly High Mountian” (Mt 4:8) is a typical example of smuggling the perennial Roman heliocentrism into Christian lore. In Plutarch’s De Iside and Osiride we find a story that Akhenaten in his childhood had a dream: a god resembling the sun god Ra took him by his hand and from an exceeding high mountain showed him all the kingdoms of the world and then said to him: All these things will I give to you, if you restore my rule. And Akhenaten, in a bloody revolution, did restore the rule of the sun god (heliocentrism). He built for his new god and for himself a new capital Akhetaton (presently known as El Amarna) and proclaimed the new divine rule Aton – a god of “social justice.” Jesus rejected the Devil's offer: “Go away devil, Thou must worship YHWH your God.” Messengers are inferior to those who sent them and Jesus was the messenger of God: “What I {Jesus} speak, therefore, I speak just as the Father has told me.” (John 12:50 NRSV) “...the word that you hear is not mine, but is from the Father who sent me.” (John 14:24 NRSV) “Then Jesus answered them, ‘My teaching is not mine but his who sent me.’ ” (John 7:16 NRSV)
The modern Hebrew poet Uri Zvi Greenberg (1893-1981) explains that ever since the Jews taught the world monotheism, the fire, water, and trees that the pagans worshiped have became enraged and persecuted them. Jesus was a Jewish prophet, but his message went unheard, for the goyim have not been weaned away from paganism. Ernest Renan stated in his famous Life (1863) that 'fundamentally there was nothing Jewish in Jesus' Recent scholarship acknowledged 'full Jewishness of Jesus.' Their blood calls them to return to their old gods, to whom they bring the blood as an offering. There is then, a sense in Greenberg that the Jews remain trapped in the struggles of ancient Israel; there is no escape from history.
The authors of the Greek Canon of the New Testament rejected philosophical heliocentrism, which, however, was embraced by the Syrian version Peshitta

In the Roman mythology we find also striking parallel to the story of temptation: Jupiter was led by Pan (the Devil) to the top of a mountain called the Pillar of Heaven whence he could see the countries of the world. Keep in mind that the Latin term orbis, actually means what Germans call Kreisscheibe i.e. a circle, a disk. (Urbi et Orbi). See Pan tempting Jupiter

Cicero writes: “ In the starry belt that the Greeks call the Zodiac, there is a certain force of such a nature that every part of that belt affects and changes the heavens in a different way, according to the stars that are in this or an adjoining locality at a given time.” These signs of the Zodiac, “Houses of the Sun”, were the 12 Constellations to which the most potent influence over destiny was ascribed. They are linked by artists not only with Time, Mother Earth, and the Seasons, but also with the traditional Olympian gods, by their appearance as a circular ring with Jupiter, Lord of All in their midst. On large bronze commemorative medallions of 2nd century emperors from Hadrian onwards, we see them as children disposed around Cicero globe beside Mother Earth, sometimes with the signs of the Zodiac displayed above; on the medallions of Commodus – under which such ideas especially flourished – they emerge from a circular frame held by Jupiter. In this sort of representation Jupiter is synonymous with Time, just as time is actually identified with a number of other gods such as the sun, and Serapis.

Jupiter was the god of Virgil's heliocentric system presented in his Georgica:
Quid faciat laetas segetes, quo sidere terram vertere- Maecenas, ulmisque vitis conveniat (Virgil Georgica, 1-2;1-4)
How the Bible Nixes Heliocentrism
A heliocentric diagram unearthed by Israeli archeologists showing a cross in a circles standing for the sun in the middle of the zodiac proves that Babylonian heliocentrism was also known to the inhabitants of Kanaan. Joshua's miracle expresses the gist of the of the anti-heliocentric lore contained in the Book of Genesis. To account for the light which turns nights into days for owls, flying squirrels, tarsiers and multitude of other night creatures, the biblical Secretary of God pointed to the relativity of the sunlight by describing the creation of light on the first day and that of the sun and the moon on the fourth. Bringing light into causal relationship with the sun, as all heliocentrists do, conforms to the receptive ability of the human eye, but it misses that LIGHT which in the “darkness” of night “leads” “all the beasts of the forest to their food” (Ps 104:20). In other words, there is nothing absolute or divine in the sun or its light, as ancient heliocentrists claimed and moreover the argument that the moon shines with the light borrowed from the sun stands and falls together with heliocentrism. The creation of the sun
and moon as “two great lights,” on the same day ,suggests their parity for life on earth. The Scripture speaks of the precious fruits put forth by the sun and moon (Dt.33:14) The precious things put forth by the moon refer to those plants that depend on moonlight, as some flowers do. Creatures like us who see only in visible light deduce that everyone in the entire Universe, including God, must see in visible light. The difference between black and white is not a matter of color, but of how much light they reflect. The terms are relative, not absolute. Black and white are fundamentally the same thing; the difference is only in the relative amounts of light reflected, not in their color. And besides, the cool of night which prepares dew for every blade of grass is as important for life in general, as heat of the day. The Biblical sun is no Creator. The Bible doesn't say: “In the beginning the Sun created the heaven and the earth.”
Let me remind here one of A. Hitler's boasts: “By the clever and continuous use of propaganda, a people can even be made to mistake heaven for hell, and vice versa.”
In ancient Babylonian astrological system, it is the sun god who is the ruler and main god of the zodiac. And all the gods of Heaven (the stars) were considered offspring of the sun. According to pagan philosophy, all the star gods were actually manifestations of the heat, fire and light which flowed from the sun. It was believed that it was the sun god who was the source of all things, and all the other gods were but emanations of the sun, “flesh of his flesh”. Therefore, all the manifestations of the gods of nature were just manifestations of the one god, the Sun, whose worship by primitive man was in reality to Satan. Even Lucifer's name means Day Star, the Illuminated One or Shining One (Young, Concordance to the Bible. 1970, p. 806) See Lucifer
Zeus has been at all the times symbolizing the SUN and the Indo-European ancestor of Zeus was a God of the bright daytime sky. http://en.wikivisual.com/index.php/Artificial_heart"
*Dieuo *deiuo (“the day time, a shining sky”) or Jupiter in Rome. Great altar of Zeus of Pergamon is described in Revelations as the site of Satan's seat (2:12-13) Later used as a model for one of Hitler's rostrums.
The Roman “Christianity” of Emperor Constantine
“When I, Constantine Augustus, as well as I, Licinius Augustus, fortunately met near Mediolanurn (Milan), and were considering everything that pertained to the public welfare and security, we thought, among other things which we saw would be for the good of many, those regulations pertaining to the reverence of the Divinity ought certainly to be made first, so that we might grant to the Christians and others full authority to observe that religion which each preferred; whence any Divinity whatsoever in the seat of the heavens may be propitious and kindly disposed to us and all who are placed under our rule. And thus by this wholesome counsel and most upright provision we thought to arrange that no one whatsoever should be denied the opportunity to give his heart to the observance of the Christian religion, of that religion which he should think best for himself, so that the Supreme Deity,* to whose worship we freely yield our hearts) may show in all things His usual favor and benevolence.”
Who is the Supreme Deity? - Julius Caesar had been enrolled in the pantheon of Roman gods in 42 BC, and the comet, as described in Octavian’s memoires, was considered the soul of the divine Julius Caesar approving of his heir. Octavian took the title son of god (DF, on coins) and when he had secured the empire for himself in 27 BC took the title Augustus, effectively, “the Most High”! It was a divine title, and altars were set up to Augustus the God in some Roman provinces. The Title “The Most High” was borrowed from the cult of Jupiter OPTIMUS MAXIMUS THE SAME AS Ζεὺς, κύδιστος, μέγιστος, Zeus, Best and Greatest. The original Ζεὺς was Called by the Greeks the Son of Time, or SON OF THE SUN (Logos). The sun was regarded as the personification of the Supreme Deity. His beneficent influences caused his identification with the Principle of Good (so Plato)

The Arabs retained the Roman idea of superseding the “dying judaism” by uniting the sexual components of both Roman temples in typical Hindu phallic architecture of linga-yoni, or Shivaling in their Al-Aqsa Mosque built on the side of the Solomon Temple. Such a shivaling was worshipped in the Kaaba in the pre-Islamic Mecca.

Religion in the Garb of Science
The Key Passage from Copernicus's Book (1,10)
Copernicus essentially ignored any biblical questions but used this religious argument to justify his whole system. Copernicus never really engages with difficulties engendered by the apparent contradiction between his hypothesis and a literal reading of the bible.
Brahma springs from an impercetible and intangible seed – the material monad (of Big bang)
When we ask what we mean by saying that god exists, we have to negate aspects of material exsitence in order to avoid speaking of Him as if he were a contingent being – Thomas Aquinas
When a lamp (Matter) becomes a god
“In the center of all rests the Sun. For who would place this lamp of a very beautiful temple in another or better place than this from which it can illuminate everything at the same time? As a matter of fact, not unhappily do some call it the lantern, others, the mind, and still others, the Leader of the World. Trismegistus calls it ‘visible God’; Sophocles’ Electra, ‘that which gazes upon all things.’ And so the sun, as if resting on a kingly throne, governs the family of stars (like Zeus pater) which wheel around.” Pythagoras likened the universe to the family.
Let me rephrase here Copernicus' question: “who would place this god...in another or better place...”there are no gods: to say Jove reigns is wrong: ‘This a blind chance that moves the years along – Juvenal, Sat. X. Incidentally, Jove is the god of Virgil's heliocentric system and Dante describes him as “crucified for mankind.” Renaissance Pope Pius II (1458-64) believed that the Roman Empire had fallen because the scholars had deserted paganism for the Papacy. “The worm of today is the God of tomorrow.” (Svami Vivekananda)
the Hebrew Bible's response to the sun-worship is its teaching concerning the creation of all thing by God; His continued sovereignty over all things, which includes His maintenance and the sun's course (Ps 104:19; Jer. 31:35 cp. Mt 5:45); His ability to alter that course (Josh 10:12; 2 Kg 20:9-11; Isa 38:8) and to withhold the sun's light from the earth (Job 9:7)
The major feature of De revolutionibus is the frequent reference to classical authorities and the almost total lack of Christian ones. Humanism was one of the dominant features of Copernicus’s intellectual life and so the use of the ancient sources was consistent with his education.Arguments that a modern thinker would describe as ‘scientific’ are rarer in De revolutionibus than might be expected. Emperor Julian was his role model. There can be no doubt that Julian sincerely believed in the Pagan theology he professed. His education in content and form of classic Hellenistic literature and philosophy, his intimate contact with some of the leading Pagan intellectuals of his age, his own reflections, as dilettantish as they may have been, must have installed in him a deep sense of the intellectual and moral superiority of every aspect of he classic Hellenistic culture over the Judaeo-Christian that was threatening to usurp the former.. Having attempted to initiate something like a Pagan theology, Julian needed now to establish an organisation that could propagate the belief, something like Academia dei Lynzei,..Julian was buried in the Church of the Holy Apostles. In Constantinople and Copernicus was recently reburied in a pompous ceremony attended by the high ranking hierarchs of the Polish Church. The evil A. Hitler perpetrated was born out of an anti-Christian world view.
Copernicus' religious creed quoted above sounds like a short paraphrase of M. Capella’s Ode to the Sun found in his general compilation of 'scientific' knowledge entitled The Marriage of Mercury and Philology (De nuptiis Philologiae et Mercuri). Copernicus; expression 'family of stars' was inspired by this marriage:
Latium invokes thee, Sol, because thou alone art in honor, after the Father, the centre of light; and they affirm that thy sacred head bears a golden brightness in twelve (Cp. twelve apostles!) rays, because thou formest that number of months and that number of hours. They say that thou guidest four winged steeds, because thou alone rulest the chariot of the elements. For, dispelling the darkness, thou revealest the shining heavens. Hence they esteem thee, Phoebus, the discoverer of the secrets of the future; or, because thou preventest nocturnal crimes. Egypt worships thee as Serapis, and Memphis as Osiris. Thou art worshiped by different rites as Mithra, Dis, and the cruel Typhon. Thou art alone the beautiful Atys, and the fostering son of the bent plough. Thou art the Ammon of arid Libya, and the Adonis of Byblus. Thus under a varied appellation the whole world worships thee. Hail! Thou true image of the gods, and of thy father’s face! Thou whose sacred name, surname, and omen, three letters make to agree with the number 608. Grant us, oh Father, to reach the eternal intercourse of mind, and to know the starry heaven under this sacred name. May the great and universally adorable Father increase these his favors.
“The sun, in the middle of the movin g stars, himself at rest and yet the source of motion, carries the image of God the Father and Creator...He distributes his motive force through a medium which contains the moving bodies even as the father creates through the Holy Ghost.” ( J. Kepler's Letter to Maestlin, 3.10.1595, in Gesammelte Werke, Vol XIII. Eds. Muenchen, 1945)
Unlike Copernicus, Kepler saw in the sun, the sphere of the fixed stars and the planets an image of Christian Trinity and the wanderings of the sun described in Ps 18 (19) he interpreted as the wanderings of the Christ on earth undertaken for our sake. Newton’s identification of gravity with Jesus' 'spiritual body' tries to preserve at least the minimum of Christian tradition in the pagan lore.

Ra, was in fact an expression of the sun as the source of life, and the source of all creation. Texts reveal that the pharaohs sought mystical union with Ra as the deepest fulfillment of our human divine nature. The phrase “Let the Day Star rise in your hearts” (2 Peter 1:19) can be interpreted as similar mystical experience.
The Greek term for god Theos (Latin Deus) was used by Christian Gnostics for the monad and the term 'monad' meant that, Sanskrit Deva, which is the etymological root of the Latin Deus, is derived from the root div, to shine. "To know fire, the sun, the moon, and lightning, is three-fourths of the science of God.” In the above picture the word Deus has the same meaning as the Hindu 'Brahma' a neuter word denoting 'Energy'. The Sanskrit term 'jamad-agni' means 'the sage who knows the identity of fire (sun) and god.' IT is best described as neither Spirit nor matter, but both. "Parabrahmam and Mulaprakriti" are One, in reality, yet two in the Universal conception of the manifested. There is no such thing as either "dead" or "blind" matter, PANTAREI! The Hindu God is a material god like the material girl. The Spirit, beyond manifested Nature, is the fiery BREATH (neuma) in its absolute Unity. In the manifested Universe, it is the Central Spiritual Sun, the electric Fire of all Life.
Let me show you, for instance, how Michel White, the former director of scientific studies and a science lecturer at D’Overbroeck’s College, Oxford sanitized this passage: “In the midst of all dwells the sun,” Copernicus declared proudly in those clear and precise opening pages of his masterpiece. “Sitting on the royal throne, he rules the family of planets which turn around him…We thus find in this arrangement an admirable harmony of the world.”
In Egypt, the sun was called pouro which signifies at once 'the fire' (Greek pyr) and 'the king'. And that explains why Copernicus's sun god is seated on the royal throne. The name of the sun god Baal means 'Lord' and 'King'. Now take a look at the Pope with the symbol of “Baal” at the forefront of his mitre, which also symbolizes the Dagon god that had a temple at Gaza (Judges 16:21-30) and Ashdod (1 Samuel 5:3-7; 1 Chronicles 10:10). Now you know who is behind all these flotillas trying to break the blockade of Gaza.
The Roman Jupiter was worshiped by the Slavs under the name Jessa and in Hungarian it became a term isten denoting God. And here is the god of Copernicus:

At the Sources of Copernicus's Material God
A Spirit hath not Flesh and Bones (Lk 24:39)
For Plato, the first form of atheism coincides with materialism, a doctrine according to which matter constitutes the only truth, and as such precedes and conditions the intelligible, spiritual and divine (cf. Laws , X, 891a-892b). The error of materialism thus consists, for Plato, in reducing the soul, and the "principle of all beings", to a material reality. Such error is common to all the Pre-Socratic philosophers or naturalists, because they see in a "natural", and therefore "material", principle the origin of all things, making of it a divine truth (water for Thales, air for Anaximenes, fire for Heraclitus, the four elements of earth-water-air-fire for Empedocles, the atoms for Democritus and Leucippus); here we are dealing with metaphysical atheism, because, for Plato, to deny the truth of the intelligible and super-sensible world is equivalent to denying the divine. (From: Interdisciplinary Encyclopedia of Religion and Science – entry Atheism). cp. “Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of heaven” (Luke 24:39-51; 1 Cor 15:50)
Newton’s Natural Philosophy matches what Varro in his Antiquities referred to as Natural Theology and that explains the puzzle of his identifying gravity with the spiritual body of Jesus Christ. Varro divided forty-one books of his Antiquities into ‘human matters’ and ‘divine matters’ and his treatment of ‘human matters’ before ‘divine matters’ was inspired by disputes of philosophers who derived their gods from fire (Heraclitus) or from number (Pythagoras) or from atoms (Epicurus). Varro’s materialistic philosophy is behind Paul’s teaching: “Howbeit, that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.” (1 Cor. 15:46).
In 2007, the liberal blog One Good Move wrote: “A certain blog is making waves around the blogosphere, denouncing Heliocentrism as an "atheist doctrine". The blog, titled "Heliocentrism is an Atheist Doctrine", comes from a blog called Blogs4Brownback.

A portrait of repenting Copernicus from E. Reinhold collection has Copernicus saying: My hope is in God Jesus and the caption reads: Dominus Nicolaus Copernicus, sacerdos (priest) and canonicus (canon)
Erasmus Reinhold(October 22, 1511 – February 19, 1553) was a German astronomer and mathematician, considered to be the most influential astronomical pedagogue of his generation. He was born and died in Saalfeld, Thuringia,Germany.
Reinhold catalogued a large number of stars. His publications on astronomy include a commentary (1542, 1553) on Georg Purbach's Theoricae novae planetarum. Reinhold knew about Copernicus and his heliocentric ideas prior to the publication of De revolutionibis and made a favourable reference to him in his commentary on Purbach. However, Reinhold (like other astronomers before Kepler and Galileo) translated Copernicus' mathematical methods back into a geocentric system, rejecting heliocentric cosmology on physical and theological grounds.

And here is a revealing Copernicus quotation which shows dialectical uncertainty of his Science:
There is no one center of all the celestial circles or spheres
The center of the earth is not the center of the universe, but only of gravity and of the lunar sphere.(Accordingly, the diagram of the Copernicus scheme shows the Moon orbiting the earth
http://cdn.wn.com/pd/e8/34/985ed3d2e2be6286a3bffc1acb12_grande.jpg)
All the spheres revolve about the sun as their mid-point, and therefore the sun is the center of the universe.
Following in the Footsteps of Martianus Capella
At the beginning (Book 1, chapter 10), Copernicus had stated: “In the midst of all dwells the sun ...Sitting on the royal throne, he rules the family of planets which turn around him... But in Book III, when it comes to reconciling the doctrine with actual observation, the earth no longer turns around the sun, but round a point in space removed from the sun by a distance of about three times the sun diameter. Do the planets revolve round the sun – as every schoolboy believes that Copernicus taught? The planets move on epicycles, centered not not on the sun, but on the center of the earth's orbit. There are thus two royal thrones: the sun, and that imaginary point in space around which the earth moves. The earth appears equal in importance in governing the solar system to the sun itself, and in fact nearly as important as in the Aristotelian or Ptolemaic system. Well, by Copernicus’s own admission Ptolemy appears ‘in large measure to have solved the problem of the apparent motions with appropriate calculations’
One can use Copernicus’s calculations to predict the positions of the heavenly bodies with about as much accuracy as one can expect from using Ptolemy’s.
Well, The eighth book of M. Capella's De Nuptiis Philologiae et Mercurii describes a modified geocentric model, in which the Earth is at rest in the center of the universe and circled by the moon, the sun, three planets and the stars, while Mercury and Venus circle the Sun.This view was singled out for praise by Copernicus in Book I of his De revolutionibus orbium coelestium.
And yet, the Encyclopedia Britannica (ed. 1974, vol V, p. 145)) assures us that: “In De revolutionibus the centres all lay at the centre of the sun. But the same author, a bit earlier, in the same entry observed: “Although Copernicus did not make extensive observations, he did enough to enable him to recalculate the major components of the supposed orbits of the Sun, Moon, and planets AROUND THE EARTH!

In other words the Copernicus heliocentric diagram doesn't match the contents of his book! But it serves the political purposes of the Vatican and its fight against the Torah, which, according to Paul, was crucified together with Christ. http://zebu.uoregon.edu/~imamura/121/images/cop_model.gif
Cardinal N. Schoenberg in his letter to Copernicus of 1536 insisted that the Moon orbits the sun like all other planets: “and the Moon, together with the elements included in its sphere, placed between the spheres of Mars and Venus, revolves annually around the Sun.”
“Whoa. So does the Moon orbit the Earth, or the Sun?
Turns out, it orbits the Earth, despite the claims to the contrary. These claims are true, but are not important in this argument. Instead, you have to look at something called the Hill sphere. Basically, it’s the volume of space around an object where the gravity of that object dominates over the gravity of a more massive but distant object around which the first object orbits.http://blogs.discovery.com/.a/6a00d8341bf67c53ef013484efd9cd970c-800wi
OK, in English — and more pertinent to this issue — it’s the volume of space around the Earth where the Earth’s gravity is more important than the Sun’s. If something is orbiting the Earth inside Earth’s Hill’s sphere, it’ll be a satellite of the Earth and not the Sun. http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/badastronomy/2008/09/29/the-moon-that-went-up-a-hill-but-came-down-a-planet/

The Orbit of the Moon around the Sun is Convex!
It is not a circle, but is close to a 12-gon with rounded corners. It is locally convex in the sense that it has no loops and the curvature never changes sign. (To be precise, it is more like a 13-gon, since we have to consider the sidereal month of 27.32 days instead of the synodic month of 29.54 days, and 365.25/27.32 = 13.37.)

Thee clock constructed as early as 1410 by Miklush of Kadan is the symbol of John Hus’s Biblical revolution which regarded as the supreme head of the Church on earth not the Pope, but Jesus, the Defender of the Bible*. On the astronomical dial of Prague, the movement of the starry skies around the earth is shown by a smaller, eccentric ring that is marked with the signs of the constellations (the Latin term firmamentum used by Jerome in his Vulgate suggests the heliocentric immobility of the starry skies i.e. fixed stars). Fixed, in the middle of the face is the earth, including its meridians, parallels, and poles, with Prague at the center. On the face are also three circles representing the equator and the Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn. The dial thus shows the relative positions of earth, moon, and stars throughout the year. Below the astronomical dial is the calendar disk, on which country scenes are painted to depict each month of the year. Every hour on hour from eight in the morning until eight at night, this amazing mechanism springs to life. At the end of WWII, Nazi forces tried to destroy the astronomical clock by setting fire to the Old Town Hall. Pope John Paul II tried to put this clock into oblivion by rehabilitating Galileo…
* In a speech delivered Feb. 2, 1994 (See National Catholic Register, March 20, 1994) Card. J. Ratzinger stressed: “The Catechism thus connects the special mission of Jesus to His fidelity to the Torah; it sees in Him the servant of God who truly brings justice (Is 42:3)…This perfect fulfillment includes Jesus taking upon Himself the “curse of the Law” incurred by those who do not abide by the things written in the Book of the Law, and do them (Gal. 3:10). And listen to this: “Where the conflict between Jesus and the Judaism of His time is presented in a superficial, polemical way, a concept of liberation is derived which can understand the Torah only as a slavery to external rites and observances.”
Strasbourg Geocentric Astronomical Clock
Caption: The historic Strasbourg Astronomical Clock, located in the Strasbourg Cathedral, France. The clock dates from 1843. It has a perpetual calendar (including a computus), an orrery (planetary dial), a display of the real position of the Sun and Moon, and solar and lunar eclipses.

Roman Pytel, Ph. D. http://romanpytel.blogspot.com/
Let me quote here two comments on my critique of heliocentrism posted on blogs4brownback: http://blogs4brownback.wordpress.com/2007/05/18/heliocentrism-is-an-atheist-doctrine/http://blogs4brownback.wordpress.com/2007/05/18/heliocentrism-is-an-atheist-doctrine/
1) Roman Pytel just blew my mind.
"My question: Do you believe, like Copernicus, that the sun is a god? Can you remove this religious belief from his book without destroying the logic of the Renaissance religious revolution as reflected in The Revolutions?"
That's an excellent question, Roman. Let's see how the moonbats worm their way out of THAT one!
By the way, I think you've written one of the most useful, cogent, and intelligent comments in this entire thread. I don't agree with everything you've said, but the overall trend of your analysis is complete and utter genius. With your permission, I'll quote it in its entirety in a separate post.

A Note on the Islamic Astronomers
Islamic astronomers did more than simply read Ptolemy. They provided astronomy with new mathematics. Their invention of algebra and trigonometry substantially changed the mathematical foundation of astronomy. They also questioned Ptolemy fundamentally. They created cosmological alternatives. But they never questioned geocentricity. However, philosophical heliocentrism of one Seleucus was smuggled into the Syrian version of the New Testament Peshitta. This heliocnetrism which went hand in hand with religion of the sun god Surya was brought to ancient Italy by Etruscans and was credited by Numa to Pythagoras. The early Christians were persecuted because they refused to bow to Sol Invictus the god of the Roman global religion, formerly known under his Syrian name Ilāh hag-Gabal and brought to Rome by his High Priest at Emesa, who became emperor Marc Aurelius Antoninus, aka Elagabal.
A temple called the Elagabalium (Cp. the Kaaba) was built on the east face of the Palatine Hill, to house the holy stone of the Emesa temple, a black conical meteorite. Herodian writes of that stone:
This stone is worshiped as though it were sent from heaven; on it there are some small projecting pieces and markings that are pointed out, which the people would like to believe are a rough picture of the sun, because this is how they see them.

Islamic astronomers were well known in the Christian Middle Ages. Copernicus (1543) mentions some in his De Revolutionibus, e.g. Ibn Rushd, al-Battani, Al-Zarkali , Thabit ibn Qurra, and al-Bitruji (latinized Alpetragius, died 1204 in Spain). The fundamental criticism on the Almagest by al-Tusi and others may have been instrumental in the work of Copernicus.
In 2006, a book Metahari Mengelilingi Bumi by Ahmad Sabiq bin Abdul Lathif Abu Yusuf was published in Indonesia which 'explains' that according to Islam, the right concept in astronomy is not the earth revolving about the sun (heliocentrism), but the sun revolving about the earth (geocentrism). This book was followed by many websites for support that geocentric concept. And so a movement against “the Scientific Miracles” in the Qur'an started and is growing day by day. The followers of Ahmad Sabiq bin Abdul Lathif Abu Jusuf proclaim: “Heliocentrism was created by non-Muslims for misguiding Muslims to the wrong paths. Some of them say helicentrism was created by Christians and Jews, the others say heliocentrism was originally from Ancient Greek pagan belief. - All proofs of heliocentric astronomy are false. Journey to outer space was hoax. - Muslims are obligated to reject heliocentric concept because Qur'an has said the right concept is geocentrism. Muslims who believe heliocentrism are kuffar.
Abraham and Sun in the Qur'an
Thus did he show Abraham the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, so that he might become a firm believer. When night drew its shadow over him, he saw a star. ‘That,’ he said, ‘is surely my God.’ But when it faded in the morning light, he said: ‘I will not worship gods that fade.’ When he beheld the rising moon, he said: ‘That is my God.’ But when it set, he said: ‘If my Lord does not guide me, I shall surely go astray.’ Then, when he beheld the sun shining, he said: ‘That must be my God: he is the largest.’ But when it set, he said to his people: ‘I disown your idols. I will turn my face to Him who has created the heavens and the earth, and will live a righteous life. I am no idolater. – 6:79
Among his signs are the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. But do not prostrate yourself before the sun or the moon; rather prostrate yourself before God, who created them both, if you would truly serve Him. – 41:35
I swear by the turning planets, and by the stars that rise and set; by the night, when it descends, and the first breath of morning: this is the word of a gracious and mighty messenger, held in honor by the Lord of the Throne, obeyed in heaven, faithful to his trust. 81:15. See also (Dt. 4:19 and Bereshit Rabbah, 38,19)
In Magnificat, Mary, mother of Jesus says: “My soul doth magnify YHWH....54. He hath holpen his servant Israel in remembrance of His mercy; As he spake to our fathers, o Abraham, and his seed for ever....73 The oath which he sware to our father Abraham.
In Erfurt, on September 23, 2011 Benedict visited the monastery of St. Augustine's, now Protestant, where Martin Luther lived as a Catholic monk in the 16th century. M. Luther opposed Copernicus' heliocentric system calling the author of the Revolutions an ass http://www.spiegel.de/fotostrecke/fotostrecke-73223-5.html
Heavenly Palace will orbit the earth according to
Confucius' Geocentric Astronomy
BEIJING/JIUQUAN, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) -- President Hu Jintao on Thursday night applauded the successful launch of China's first space lab module Tiangong-1, and shook hands with the staff of the Beijing Aerospace Flight Control Center. Graphisc of China Space exploration shows in the first position the geostationary orbit which says a lot if you put this info in the proper context.
In Marshall Hall's book the Earth is not Moving. Over 400 Years of Deception Exposed. The Bible Told the Truth All Along we find, on page 261, a copy of a letter from the US Department of Commerce to the author answering his quest re: Geostationary Satellites. In his letter of November 17, 1989 He asked C/O Charles E. Liddick, Chief Scheduling Branch Office of Satellite Operations “if the present movement of Geostationary Satellites is (and will be) planned and executed on the basis of a fixed earth or a rotating earth? And the answer in the letter of November 22, 1989 signed by Lee Ranne of GOES/POLAR Navigation Office of Satellite Operations was: FIXED EARTH. In Chinese folklore, a heavenly palace often refers to the place in outer space where deities reside. Let me stress here that the Heavenly Palace was launched into orbit the next day after festive celebrations across China of 2, 562nd birthday of the Chinese Moses – Confucius.
