Gaia or, John Paul II's Mother of all gods
Poets will lead men's souls back to God- W. Whitman Passage to India

As Blondel and de Lubac discovered “authentic Christianity” 2000 years after the fact, so Karol Józef Wojtyla (Pope John Paul II) discovered “authentic Christian sexuality” for the Church 2000 years later...Indeed a world-wide cottage industry has come into existence having as its sole objective the explanation and popularization of the new theology among Catholic and non-Catholic laymen, clergy and religious. It has yet to dawn upon advocates of the cult of John Paul II, that perhaps the difficulty in discerning Wojtyla’s writings on the Theology of the Body stems from the fact they are not Catholic, or perhaps it is fairer and more accurate to say that where his writings are original they are not Catholic, and where they are Catholic they are not original. http://www.newengelpublishing.com/products/Theology-of-the-Body.html
Let me retrace here K. Wojtyl's thinking on his not catholic ritual of hugging the earth on his innumerable pilgrimages. This ritual was logically connected with the sources of his philosophy in the writings of French Jesuit Teilhard de Chardin: “Christianity’s only chance to grow lay in her being born again among the Gentiles because only the Gentiles had retained their pagan taste for the earth.” “Christianity must break out of the closed world of Israel into the pagan world”.
A Courageous Pole Unmasks Heliocentrism as a Pagan Religion
Stanisław Wyspiański (January 1869 – 28 November 1907) was a Polish playwright, painter and poet. He was one of the most outstanding and multifaceted artists of his time in Europe. He successfully joined the trends of modernism with themes of the Polish folk tradition and Romantic history. Unofficially, he came to be known as the Fourth Polish Bard (in addition to the earlier Three Bards - Polish 'Wieszcze' who could be described as Polish counterparts of Biblical Prophets. In Kraków he cooperated with the Art Society and in the mid of 1898 was nominated arts manager of the weekly Życie (Life). As such he published a drawing by Czech Artist Frantishek Bilek titled: Ziemia leci we wszechswiat (The earth flies off into the Universe) which is s short graphic summary of the most important passages of The Revolutions expressing the glory of the Pagan religion of Sol Invictus as expressed in Pliny's Natural History and in emperor Hadrian's heliocentric diagram in the dome of his Pantheon.
And here are two most important passages from The Revolutions which were translated by F. Bilek into Graphic summary:
Copernicus's gods: Gaia/Zeus/Jupiter/
“We conceive immobility to be nobler and more divine that mutability and instability, which latter is therefore more appropriate to the earth than to the universe. I add to this that it would seem quite absurd to attribute motion to that which contains and locates, rather than to that which is contained and located – namely, the earth.” (De revol. I, 8, p. 19 edition of 1976)
“In the center of all rests the Sun. For who would place this lamp of a very beautiful temple in another or better place than this from which it can illuminate everything at the same time? As a matter of fact, not unhappily do some call it the lantern, others, the mind, and still others, the Leader of the World. Trismegistus calls it ‘visible God’; Sophocles’ Electra, ‘that which gazes upon all things.’ And so the sun, as if resting on a kingly throne, governs the family of stars which wheel around.” (The revol I, 10) (“Von extatischen Erlebnissen erfüllt, habe Copernicus geglaubt, dass er die Gottheit und ihre gleichsam physische Natur auf wissenschaftlichen Wege enthülle.”)
Graphic Summary of Copernicus's Pagan Religion published in Polish magazine Zycie in 1897

This magnificent drawing explains W.Whitman's disgust with heliocentrism
I learned quite recently that the volume of the weekly Zycie containing this drawing disappeared from the shelf of the library of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Krakow. Similarly, Copernicus's poems written during his study at the Krakow University and expressing his Judeo-Christian theological views got lost in the Vatican Library...

Let me quote the relevant passage from Pliny's Natural History:
“Upheld by the same vapor between earth and heaven, at definite spaces apart, hang the seven stars which owing to their motion we call 'planets,' although no stars wander less than they do. In the midst of these moves the sun, whose magnitude and power are the greatest, and who is the ruler not only of the seasons and of the lands, but even of the stars themselves and of the heaven. Taking into account all that he effects, we must believe him to be the soul, or more precisely the mind, of the whole world, the supreme ruling principle and divinity of nature. He furnishes the world with light and removes darkness, he obscures and he illumines the rest of the stars, he regulates in accord with nature's precedent the changes of the seasons and the continuous re-birth of the year, he dissipates the gloom of heaven and even calms the storm-clouds of the mind of man, he lends his light to the rest of the stars also; he is glorious and pre-eminent, all-seeing and even all-hearing – this, I observe, that Homer the prince of literature held to be true in the case of the sun alone.”(2-1)
Emperor Aurelian thoroughly reformed the Roman cult of Sol, elevating the sun-god to one of the premier divinities of the empire. Where previously the priests of Sol had been a sacerdos and tended to belong to lower ranks of Roman society, they were now a pontifex and member of the new college of pontifexes instituted by Aurelian. Every pontifex of Sol was a member of the senatorial elite, indicating that the priesthood of Sol was now highly prestigious. Almost all these senators held other priesthoods as well, however, and some of these other priesthoods take precedence in the inscriptions in which they are listed, suggesting that they were considered more prestigious than the priesthood of Sol. Aurelian also built a new temple for Sol, bringing the total number of temples for the god in Rome to (at least) four (the other three were in the Circus Maximus, on the Quirinal, and in Trastevere). He also instituted games in honor of the sun god, held every four years from AD 274 onwards. In a sense this was a foretaste of what was to follow under Constantine and his successors, though Christianity, in contrast, was premised on the death of all other cults. (Wiki, Aurelian).
In 1503 pope Julius II placed the statue of Apollo, subsequently known as the “Apollo Belvedere” in the inner court of the Belvedere Palace of Innocent VIII (Guide to the Vatican Museums (Gestione Vendita Publicazioni Musei Vaticani, Citta del Vaticano. 1979, p. 14). While in Rome in 1580, Montaigne was told about the wedding services held for homosexual couples in the church of San Giovanni a Porta Latina. The hero of Thomas Nashe's novel The Unfortunate Traveler of 1594 was warned by an exiled English earl he met in Rome. What is to be learned in France save 'to esteeme of pox as a pimple', in Spain save to copy 'a ruffle with short strings like the droppings of a man's nose', in Italy save 'the art of atheisme, the art of epicurising, the art of whoring, the art of poysoning, the art of sodomitry.'
The maverick Soviet scientist, Vernadsky who reminded us: “The biosphere is as much, or even more, the creation of the sun as it is a manifestation of Earth process. Ancient religious intuitions, which regarded terrestrial creatures, esp. human beings as ‘children of the Sun’ were much nearer the truth that those which looked upon them as a mere ephemeral creation, a blind and accidental product of matter and earth-forces. Terrestrial creatures are the fruit of a long and complicated cosmic process, and, subject to predetermined laws, form of necessity part of a harmonious cosmic mechanism in which chance does not exist.” Carl Sagan followed in his footsteps. Whoever venerates the sun god also hugs his mistress Gaia i.e. the earth goddess! That's a heliocentric religious ritual!
Glorification of Pederasty in the Solar Religion of Zeus/Apollo

Antinous was a “Ganymede” od Emperor-god Hadrian, who was so fond of learning Greek literature that he was nicknamed Graeculus ("Greekling"). Hadrian is remembered as a cruel oppressor of the Jews who put down their rebellion in 135 after exterminating 580,000 Jews and razing to the ground 50 fortified towns and 985 villages. He decided to root out Judaism which he saw as the cause of continuous rebellions, prohibited the Torah, the Hebrew calendar and executed Judaic scholars. The sacred scroll was ceremonially burned on the Temple Mount, and in an attempt to erase the memory of Judea, he renamed the province Syria Palestina.
The “Greek ideal” was a culture of pederastic male supremacy. Male homosexuality, especially between men and boys was considered a virtue in Hellenic society. In several of his dialogues, Plato serves as an apologist for pederasty, and apparently considered man/boy sex to be superior to heterosexual relations. Only “pederastic courtship” reflected the “heavenly” form of love. Homosexual boys and lads are the best of their generation, because they are the most manly. Socrates fell in love with a schoolboy, Cydias, proclaiming “I caught fire, and could possess myself no longer.” They used to say: 'Once a philosopher, twice a Sodomite.'
Archaeologists have demonstrated that the word Christos, which we render Christ, has been found not only on Pagan temples, and used in relation to those who were said to be the sons of the pagan gods, but the term was also engraved on tombstones and other Pagan artifacts prior to the time of Jesus. In the Greek and Roman mystery religions of the time, the Christos was the Anointing of the Logos, and the Christian was the follower of the Anointed. In the writings of Clement of Alexandria we find it explained that: “Those who lived according to the logos, were regarded Christians, though they have been thought to be atheists; as Socrates and Heraclitus were among the Greeks, and such as resembled them” (Strom, bk. I, ch. XIX).
That Antinous was particularly popular at home in Asia Minor is of no mystery. He was openly exalted in twenty other cities in the area, including the large metropolis of Nikomedia and his now holy place of birth, Bithynion. Perhaps with less zeal, Antinous was also recognized in ten Italian cities as well as Hadrian's Villa, which turned into as much a shrine to Antinous as a home to the Emperor. That relics of Antinous have been found as far away as the Danube, Holland, Portugal, Gaul, Malta, Lebanon, and the shores of the Black
Declared a World Heritage Site, Villa Hadriana is a large Roman villa built by the emperor Hadrian in the early Second Century AD. The villa was a sumptuous complex of over 30 buildings, covering an area of 300 acres. This geometrical design was originally crafted in black and white marble for the floor of the guest rooms of the emperor’s villa. https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaUQk2G4F8yrOb5Df5TUDUC2R6PxDBaqsOZiruI62YnNoXY7h4IM6BuZscOFTWCAEexDPVSS_hqIK5D0RZIM1vrY01q7smFF0DGIynXnPJ62IzRgfHK-Vh58oxUnv2N73VdxvVU6q5RuM/s320/100_2735.jpg. Jerusalem Orpheus
Commentary: This is a picture of the Orpheus mosaic, discovered in Jerusalem but now residing in an Istanbul museum. Found in a chapel near the Damascus Gate, the mosaic depicts Orpheus playing an instrument and surrounded by animals and other figures. The mythological figure of Orpheus was often associated with the motif of Jesus as the Good Shepherd in early Christian art (see, for example, artwork in the Roman catacombs). This mosaic dates to the later 6th century CE. This detail of the mosaic depicts Orpheus himself with the god Pan(a Dionysian Satyr) and a centaur below him.
John Paul II was not the first pope who rehabilitated the Pagan heliocentrism. On the 16th of August, 1820, the Congregation of the Holy Office reported that Settele, the professor of astronomy at Rome and Washington might teach the Copernican system as truth established. The heliocentric scheme was not a new idea in the history of science. Aristarchus of Samos anticipated the heliocentric system. As Plutarch writes, the hypothesis of Aristarchus was recognized as a dogma (apodeiknumi) by a certain Seleukos of Seleukia (See Rabelais, Pantagruel, Book V, ch. 25 (1552) In fact, statements of speculative philosophy were referred to by Cicero as dogmata. Already Plato wanted to defend his dogmas with the help of an inquisition. And this tradition endured. The editor who decided to publish Velikovsky’s “Worlds in Collision” which undermined the heliocentric scheme was dismissed from Doubleday. “Respectable professors” deluged Doubleday with letters threatening to boycott their textbooks if “Worlds…” was not withdrawn (See Norman Storer, Scientists Confront Velikovsky). When a fossil preparatory in the Department of Vertebrate Paleontology at the Smithsonian Institution started speaking out against evolution, he was sacked in this “Land of the Free”. Well, Gov. Blagojevich who declared war on Heliocentrism was sent to prison for 14 years.

Following in the footsteps of A. Einstein Several of the most illustrious thinkers of the postwar period have called for Western religion to forsake the solitary and overpowering, personal deity of the Bible, not for science or rationalism but for naturalistic polytheism of ancient Greece. Sun and Earth are equally encompassed in this metavision. Accordingly, de Chardin posited above Suess’s biosphere the existence of an even more significant covering of the earth – its “thinking skin”, the “noosphere”. The earth once again became a goddess. De Chardin’s “apostle” in Poland the young K. Wojtyla wrote a poem about the “thinking skin” of a worker, described in this poem entitled Material .
The paganizing efforts of the Vatican are reflected in in its Guide to the Vatican Museum: “It was this Spirit which inspired the creation of two of the most illustrious of the humanistic institutions of the Holy See: the Vatican Library and the Vatican Museums. Both were the outcome of a vision of Graeco-Roman culture as the perfect, almost timeless expression of human creativity at its highest levels - thought and art - and as the precursor, at times almost the prefigurement, of Christanity, above all in the West.” (Gestione Vendita Publicazioni Musei Vaticani, Citta del Vaticano. 1979, o. 12)
NASA Weighs in
After a decade of technical articles and studies that began in the 1960s with his work for NASA, Lovelock introduced his Gaia theory to the general public in Gaia: A New Look at Life on Earth published in 1979 by the Oxford University Press. Igniting a scientific, environmental, and spiritual movement that has burgeoned through scores of seminars, symposia, and songfest at home and abroad, the Britisher’s opinions on Gaia have since been roundly in demand.
In addition to the major living Earth/Goddess festivals that have been held in New York, San Francisco, Toronto, Amhest, Boulder, and various locations in England and on the Continent, innumerable smaller seminars, discussion groups, and get-togethers, have been organized around Gaian themes. The Gaia Institute at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City has been offering lectures, discussion groups, and entertainment for almost a decade.
In May 1988 the Dalai Lama, the archbishop of Canterbury, and 200 other clergy and public officials, including a number of foreign ministers and heads of state, gathered for five days at Oxford University for the Global Forum for Survival. Essentially, Lovelock’s message was: take care of the Earth goddess and humanity’s problems will start to take care of themselves, because there is more space for homeless on Mother Earth than in shelters! Mother Teresa expressed just the opposite: take care of the people, and the Earth’s problems will come around but her boss disagreed.
The idea of the living Earth today exercises a profound intellectual enchantment. The notion of our planet as an infinitely integrated super organism has compelled world leaders from Mikhail Gorbachev to Pope John Paul II, R. Reagan to Archbishop Desmond Tutu, and UN Secretary General Perez de Cuellar to Norwegian prime minister Gro Harlem Bruntland to write on the theme of global interdependence in the Gaia Peace Atlas, published simultaneously by Gaia Books (London) and Doubleday (New York) 1988, which concludes by thanking Lovelock “for his continuing inspiration.”

The Apollo astronaut Russel Schweikart who “was the first person to walk in space without an umbilical cord to the craft, swept along by the magical, invisible connection of shared momentum,” believes that Gaia may be nearing some sort of threshold analogous to giving birth. Wee may conclude that a new member will soon be added to Copernicus’s astrorum familia. (See, Gaia, Evolution and the Significance of Space Exploration, JS Journal, published by International Synergy (December 1987; 2:2, p. 29) See, how Gaia's water broke http://people.tribe.net/djedeyemindtrick
“We call upon the German people once again: “Guard what you have!” Let no man rob you of your priceless…sacred books! If we are to repudiate the Old Testament and banish it from our schools and national libraries, then we must disown our German classics. We must cancel many phrases from the German language…We must disown the intellectual history of our nation.” (Card. Faulhaber, Judaism, Christianity & Germany, 1933, p. 16f)

gives a list of the libraries throughout the world possessing a well-preserved copies of the Gutenberg Bible. The Vatican Library, sure, possesses one, but when you click on the link, you won't find a picture of the Bible, but instead miniature from the Syriac Gospel Lectionary (Vat. Syr. 559), created ca. 1220 near Mosul and exhibiting a strong Islamic influence. Why? The Syrian Version of the New Testament (Peshitta) puts into Jesus' mouth lecturing in the Jerusalem temple a short summary of the philosophical heliocentrism advanced by the Babylonian astrologer Seleucus. Well, in the Greek Gospel of Matthew Jesus confirms the validity of the Old Testament geocentrism: “That ye may be sons of your Father who is in heaven, for He maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the g and sendeth rain on the just and the unjust.”

But in In 2006, a book Metahari Mengelilingi Bumi by Ahmad Sabiq bin Abdul Lathif Abu Yusuf was published in Indonesia which 'explains' that according to Islam, the right concept in astronomy is not the earth revolving about the sun (heliocentrism), but the sun revolving about the earth (geocentrism). This book was followed by many websites for support that geocentric concept. And so a movement against “the Scientific Miracles” in the Qur'an started and is growing day by day. Click on the link to see the title page of the book syawal88.wordpress.com/2010/03/
The followers of Ahmad Sabiq bin Abdul Lathif Abu Jusuf proclaim: “Heliocentrism was created by non-Muslims for misguiding Muslims to the wrong paths. Some of them say helicentrism was created by Christians and Jews, the others say heliocentrism was originally from Ancient Greek pagan belief. - All proofs of heliocentric astronomy are false. Journey to outer space was hoax. - Muslims are obligated to reject heliocentric concept because Qur'an has said the right concept is geocentrism. Muslims who believe heliocentrism are kuffar. Indeed, The Koran teaches:
“Is it not He, who has made the earth as his fixed abode?” -27:6; 31:10; 30:25 “He has subjected the sun and the moon (to continue going round) Each running its course) for a term appointed” – 13:2; 21:33; 31:29
The book Epinomis, ascribed to Plato, mentions that the Word (Logos) arranged the sun, moon and stars: “...the sun...the moon...the stars...each travels through its particular orbit, completing the world, which the most divine Word (Gr. Logos) appointed (or arranged) visible.”
